Hi! I'm Merripen. I'm a full time college student interested in literature and why the brain works the way it does. I used to be a really avid book reviewer in high school (under a different name), but once college kicked in I got busy and pretty much stopped reading all together. I've missed it though. I've missed seeing what people are reading and what books are really popular and what books are very much not so popular. I've missed the community that reading provides. So I decided to try again. New name. New blog. New form of escapism.

In the past I read exclusively YA and NA, but I have expanded into more adult and classics recently and I'm excited to keep expanding my reading interests. Fantasy. Romance. Suspense. All that good shit. Along with reading I also love to play video games, with some of my favorites being Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, and Minecraft. It's all about escaping. I hope to be able to chat about books, video games, and all other forms of escapism with all of you soon. Happy escaping.
